What else does chiropractic care help? Allergies! I had to share as we discovered chiro care about 1.5 years ago, and I'm still amazed at all the benefits of chiropractic care. As I understand it more (aligning the spine and body so that our nervous system can function without interference), it makes sense though still amazes me. :-)

Anyways, poor Odin has developed some nasty allergies this spr...ing, and two nights ago woke up with the classic croup cough and voice from them. Yesterday morning he sounded so bad that I thought we'd be heading to the pediatrician and ending up with a breathing treatment. However, first I decided to take him to see Dr. Lindsey b/c I know and have heard that chiropractic care can help with allergies. Well, within 15 minutes of his adjustment, Odin's running-faucet of a nose and red watery eyes were gone. Last night, we added a humidifier with some eucalyptus EO for good measure, and he slept like a dream - no cough, no breathing issues, no snotty nose this morning.

I love that Odin could avoid medications like prednisone and allergy meds, especially since those come with their own side effects. He loves seeing Dr. Lindsey and will even ask, "Go see Dr. Lindsey. Get adjusted, mommy?" when he doesn't feel well."
